Christine Nguyen was born in Los Angeles, CA and currently resides in Denver, CO and Long Beach, CA. Her curiosity of the natural world inspires her practice which draws largely from nature and the sciences. Her cyanotypes in particular allow her to experiment with several different interests at once, from organic elements to celestial explorations to the photographic process and beyond. She received her M.F.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and her work has been featured at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, CA, Michael Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, 10 Chancery Lane Gallery in Hong Kong, among many others.
